The Attakwas Extreme Ultra Marathon

First off, the attakwas was nowhere near as bad as I expected it to be! I rode with dad for the race so that I could get used to riding at his pace for 8+hours. His pace is not as fast as mine (in honesty) so I was able to ride the race within my limits and just enjoy mountain biking for what it really is! TOUGH RIDING!!!

Riding has been pretty tough since I last updated this! Last week Tuesday I did the cycling leg of a small triathlon in Natures Valley with a friend, Kerri Langton, and a Cousin, Stephan Diederiks, as partners. It was only 12km but it felt like a lot longer because it is quite hard to go all out when I do little to no training in that regard. The course was quite bumpy with poor road conditions and a lot of slower riders clogging up the roads but we managed to pull through with a 3rd position...
