For the last 4 weeks I have been doing as much 'volume' riding as possible. This requires a lot of long and 'easy-ish' rides in zones 1 to 2 so that I can have a good base fitness going into the racing season. Luckily, Kevin Evans lives in Plett and we have been doing most of our rides together because my training program is almost a copy and paste of his!
